Self Healing Crystal?

Hi everyone, I joined the group several weeks ago, but this is my

first post. The attunement & energy transmission were incredible!

I was wondering if anyone can help w/a question about " self healing "

crystal. On the bargain shelf of the rock/gem shop I found a quartz

cluster that gave me quite a burst of energy when I picked it up. It

weighs about 1 lb or so, is quite beat up w/most of the larger

crystal points broken off, lots of damage, although there are some 2

inch clear points in nice interesting (2 Isis) configurations. It

is, forgive me for saying so, plug-ugly. I'm totally in love with it.

 

What really struck me was, when I turned it over, instead of a matrix

or base of the typical raw white-marble looking stuff, which I take

to be quartz also, was....a field of tiny clear crystals! The

largest is 1 and 1/2 inch, most are much smaller, tiny ones. I've

never seen this before. The entire underside/base is covered with

small crystals.

 

Could this be a " self healed " ? They had Melody's pictorial but it

didn't help. Also can anyone give insight on how to work with it,

what its purpose might be? It obviously is very special.

 

I of course cleared it. It's energy is lovely. Also on the main

side is one crystal with many smaller ones growing on it's barrel.

 

Finally, do quartz crystals continue to grow once removed from their

environment? The rock/gem man said they do, but of course at a rate

undetectable by humans. But it seems to me they would not if the

conditions aren't right....will they grow in my bedroom? :^)

I'm fairly new to the list also. I have become very interested or

should I say " obsessed " with crystals and stones over the last few

years. Im very sensitive to their energy and I want to learn all I

can about them.

Self-Healed Crystals - A partial piece of crystal or a complete

crystal that has severed from its original matrix or cluster group,

then at some later time the conditions were correct it continued to

grow new crystal structure over the area where the crystal separated

from its original host, in effect healing its own wounds. It is

believed that this crystal will aid in any type of self-healing—

physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. Self-Healed crystals are

exceptionally supportive for those with strong emotional issues or

traumas, or are struggling with some type of addiction that includes

the inability to let go of certain kinds of behavior, a person, or

belief, as well as tobacco, food, alcohol and drugs.

some of my most beloved crystals are the really ugly ones

sounds like it might be fairy crystals rather than selfhealed

many self healed crystals are covered with flat facet growth rather than

fully formed crystals

the sheets or fields of tiny crystals are often fairy crystals there is

another name too but I'll have to look it up and it is too late tonight

That would probably be a barnacle crystal

That is not something that can be determined

I have actually have a crystal that I swear did get new growth

which is why I have shifted from thinking it not likely to probably very

uncommon

O.K . I really don't think I know everything, I know Idon't know

everything

I do not really know a lot about the numerology of crystals off hand

or numerolgy in general. So I may not have intelligent answers I will

try

to

find them and invite others to share information on this with the list .

 

This is mainly a referance to numerology . I have also seen a report

using

these vibration numbers as a referance to the esoteric planes or rays of

 

creation

.. I have had some spectacularly accurate readings done by

numerologists

so I

do believe it can provide information of great value to an experienced

numeroligist .

and I have some materials to research I'd consider this advanced

material

and

so far I have not found or explored much in the way of practical uses

for

the

information re crystals

In my findings. A self-healed crystal has small looking triangles formed all

along the bottom where it was broken off the main crystal and it makes it

kind of " soft " . You have to look really close. (I'm not talking about the

record keeper

triangles on the face)
