Guest guest
hi guys, i am one of the newer members. I am currently trying to decide what school to apply to. i posted a previous message but i don't think anyone responded to it, so i'll ask it again. I know that this question may sometimes be hard to answer because of the varying factors, but can anyone tell me what is an average yearly earning for acupuncturists? Also, to the people on this board who are currently practicing acupuncturists, can someone give me an idea of what the average amount of clients they see in a week are? Also, one more question-- I am in the NY area. Are there any type of listings or something to that effect that list the " top " new york acupuncture schools? I am currently reviewing Swedish, Pacific, and New York College of Health professions. I had also heard that Tri was decent. Can anyone who is going to or graduated from one of these schools give me some input? Thanks so much Mar
Guest guest
Mar - I started a group for acupuncturist students and those considering attending: you may want to post the question there. AcupunctureStudents/ I will also be coming out with a website soon. I went to school in New York, and still live and practice here. The schools are very different, so it is worth doing a little research. The question maybe should be how many patients do you want to see a day and how much money do you want to make? Some people see one patient an hour, others can see 3-4 an hour. Some styles can treat even more than that. As far as money goes, one can definately make a living practicing acupuncture. acupuncture , " zaynetp " <zaynetp> wrote: > hi guys, i am one of the newer members.
