Dear Doc,

 

My name is Sxxxxxxx and I live in Australia. 2 years ago my son zzzz

who is now 26 went to New Zealand but got into trouble with the law

is due to finish a sentence of 2 years April 2006, in a NZ prison.

He got himself into trouble due to the dreaded demon of alcohol. In

these last 2 years my son has focused his attention into healing

himself of this alcohol addiction by doing what he does best,

training himself to become fit and healthy. He has a black belt in

tae kwon do. He is currently training to become a professional

boxer, like his Grandfather was. He has begun a correspondence

coarse in sports psychology and so far in the last 6 - 7 months of

this corse has received all A's. He has a beautiful style in which

ever sport he learns. He is crisp clean, fast and accurate, as he

trains hard to become proficient at whatever sport he puts his heart

into. He really is specially talented and gifted for the martial

arts and boxing style sports.

 

He found an ad in a magazine he was reading talking about speed

hitting, and has asked me to try and find out what it is all about,

which is why I am writing to you. My son has no support in NZ as

all his loved ones live in Australia. I am allowed to ring him for

5 minutes every 2 weeks, and apart from that and letters from his

grandfather and sister, he has no other support in NZ. He is not a

bad person and I cant stress that enough, he just went off track due

to alcohol. He has set himself a training program to last till he

gets out in April. He then intends to train for boxing with a

trainer his grandfather has set up for him for the next 6 months

after getting out, as he is not allowed to return back home to us in

Australia till he has been out for 6 months.

 

When he comes home, his grandfather, my father will continuee to

train him and set him up for his first professional fights. As much

as I would love to get the video and book advertised for speed

hitting for him, I unfortunately cannot afford it at this time. I

am a single mother, and my father now ageing in his 80's needs me

home to care for him and my mother who unfortunately has vascular

dementia. We survive on the pension, but it affords us no more than

staples, I hope you can appreciate this fact. I was wondering if

you had any material on the subject of speed that I could send zzzz

that does not cost as much, please keep in mind that Australian

dollar is double the American dollar, meaning your $50.00 would be

approx $100 to me.

 

I know I am being very rude asking you for this, but my heart aches

for my son's happiness under the present circumstances, and he has

put so much effort into change and has done so well at keeping

himself motivated to becoming physically and mentally fit that I am

able to bypass this feeling of humiliation and go out on this limb

to just ask.

 

From what I have read on the web about you, I sense that you are

also spiritual and I have been at zzzz to focus on his spiritual

fitness now that he has got his mental and physical under hand. I

feel it is time for his spiritual self to open wide and I have

prayed to God for help in this area, somehow I feel that you may be

that help. I am not attached to an outcome, as I firmly believe

that all is God, so if this letter is supposed to be a karmic link

for zzzz in some way it will, if not it want, simple as that.
