Guest guest
Kel, I completely agree! I breastfed my own children, but later on as I was weaning them gave them soy formula, and now soy milk. But without doubt, breastmilk is the best and healthiest food for babies. In my opinion, cow's milk formula is downright dangerous and has been linked to colic, asthma, allergies, and even sudden infant death syndrome. It should not be given to babies or young children, milk is not the " healthy, perfect food " as we have been so long led to believe. Cow's milk has even been known to cause problems for babies that are being breastfed when their mothers drink it. The milk protiens pass into the breastmilk, along with antibiotics, bovine growth hormone, and any pesticides the cow has been exposed to.
