if there is a good book on this, as far as how to maximize the baby's original

qi.

anybody know of anything like that? id just like to read up on all i can about

the whole situation.

It would seem to me that the crux of your difficulties

lies here:

" problem is, i have a very depleted condition right

now. "

What does this mean, and what can you do to address

that? It would seem you need to deal with this issue

before you can even think about reading books about

babies, especially if your depleted condition has any

relation to your Kidneys.

I don't know of any books offhand at the moment.

Kind regards, Jack

yeah, its anklosing spondilitis. there are many theories about this

condition, but what works BEST are the general tonification points. also,

herbs for kidney yin deficiency. im working on that. i do qi gong and all

that. i should get treated more often, since it's free at the school, but i

work full time as well as going to school full time. ironically, its like

im too busy depleting myself to take time out to tonify. heh.

i also used to chainsmoke rather frequently, but ive stopped doing that,

because i think it dries up a lot of my yin.

thanks.

You may wish to start here;

In 1982, Bob published his first book on Chinese

medicine. This was titled Path of Pregnancy. It was a

compendium of everything Bob had found on acupuncture

and Chinese medicine for gestational, birthing, and

postpartum diseases. Bob compiled this information

first because of Honora's pregnancy and the birth of

their son Ian.

Please take the time to get treated more often.

Sometimes people need to work on the lesson of taking care of

themselves. For example I have a tendency to substitute food for sleep

and rest in order to keep going when I need rest. Talk about depleting!

Sometimes people get programmed with erroneous ideas of what they

should be doing or be capable of doing. Also if they take the time

they need for their own healing or maintenance they're somehow being

selfish. Which they aren't.

I hope that you and your girl friend aren't considering having a baby

while you're still going to school full time and working full time

plus dealing with your own health problems. If you think your life is

hectic, depleting, and demanding right now, you haven't seen anything

like what it would be with the responsibility of a baby.

Is there a professor, mentor, or counselor at your school that you can

talk with about this? You're firmly on your way to becoming a very

good healer for yourself and others. Please don't lose courage.

dear mercurious trismegistus,

well, I can assume your at a mercurial level in your studies, by the second year

you should have got the gistus of the whole thing, which means, you should

hopefully have a bit more reserves on hand to keep the mercury low.

as far as good books go, I would say that no books will really go the way your

looking for it to go, but as we know, things come and go in this world. So, I

would start by recommending that you actually enroll in some reputable qi gong

school. Secondly, you may want to think about why your asking the question.

Actually, no time is really the right time for a baby to come, it just happens

and if your thinking this way, then perhaps it is something that you don't want

to happen. Be honest with yourself and your girlfriend. If you really want to

have a baby, then go for it. Forget all this stuff about original qi too,

actually, you already have what it takes im sure, something that is original

surely cant be changed. Also, you mention your girlfriends age, but not your

own. Why? Think about it! My real advice, don't look for something in a book,

look at what is happening in your life now and make the best of it with what you

have. If you want to have better results, then ease off the peddle, slow down

and im sure your perspective will change.
