Guest guest
Hi everyone, Here is Part 2 of Non-Verbal Pacing & Leading that I promised. So to back track from "Cloud Busting/ Non-Verbal Pacing & Leading Part " I like to maximize my time while traveling so I either read a good book, write notes for one of my own books or play with some exercises that you'll probably enjoy playing with since you are smart enough to be on Doc's lists The other night I was riding the subway home and noticed some passengers dozing off around me. The soothing rocking of trains and buses can often have this effect on people. Or so I've noticed. So I already shared the first exercise ( also below this post ) and the 2nd exercise I was playing with was to get them to DROP something they were holding in their half sleeping hands... It had been raining hard so many people were holding Umbrellas and other things. Some of them were holding something in their hands while drifting off to sleep, ( see post below/ Part 1 ) I would get NON VERBAL RAPPORT with them and then really FEEL myself dropping the umbrella, book, plastic bottle or whatever they were holding in their semi-sleeping hands... Tonight I had finished my book ( re-reading "Think and Grow Rich" Napolean Hill ) and I had already "played" enough for my Date Coaching job so I re-visited this oldy, yet goodie and 2 out of 3 people DROPPED what they were holding and woke up. That reminded me of something I learned from Doc and some may read this and also remember learning or reading about Doc posting how he trained Military people to be able to relax during down time and then AWAKEN IMMEDIATELY at the first sign, sense of proximity or danger, etc. ( one method I heard of was to hold a metal spoon above a metal tray and when you really drifted off from trance into sleep you would drop the spoon and the NOISE would AWAKEN you INSTANTLY-----then you Anchor this... ) Just felt like sharing, Michael Twomey P.s. The Relaxation CD is available and those who are interested in my free E-book I promise I will send it as soon as I get through all the E-mails-----my e-mail addresses got so flooded with requests for the book that I had to unbounce them a few times already. Also, thank you Doc for letting me mention it on your lists
