Hi Theda,

 

My frame is something I learned from Donna (I think) about 14 years ago. It was

about why we need to clear chakras BEFORE we charge a chakra. I then made the

intuitive leap to " only charging energy " like in Reiki is like taking a two week

old half filled cup of coffee (with mold growing in it), and adding new fresh

coffee to it and expecting it to taste good.

 

It won't.

 

And even though it is " all energy " , energy can and does become contaminated.

 

So my explanation to those that ask has that metaphor in it of scummy coffee

because...

 

And then I pre-frame that frame with, " I used to do Reiki also and... "

 

Works for me.
