Guidelines for choosing an acupuncturist (in Seattle)?

Hi,

 

After making a faulty choice with one acupuncturist based on the

reference of a colleague, I am trying to decide the best way to find

an acupunturist in the Seattle area to treat lower back pain and

lower leg numbness and coldness (for my dad).

Normally, the advice is to seek one based on the advice of a friend.

However, none of my friends go to acupuncturists.

So, I am left with finding one through the internet or phonebook.

Other than asking how long they have practiced, what else should I

ask?

It would also be greatly appreciated if someone could mention an

acupuncturist or acupunture resource in the Seattle area.
