Hello everyone: A friend brought to my attention that many on the

planet are celebrating Wesak, the time when Buddha awakened and the

Spiritual Light is intensified upon the world. It is a day to offer

the world and ourselves forgiveness. The last two days, the workbook

lessons in A Course in Miracles have been: " Forgiveness is the key to

happiness " , and " Forgiveness offers me everything I want. " Why is

forgiveness a key to the manifestation of good things in our life, and

how does it relate to the Law of Attraction?

When we operate from an unforgiving mind, our attention is focused on

all those things we do not like about ourselves and other people, and

life in general. As Abraham teaches, what we focus on we attract more

of. So the forgiving mind (when we choose to consciously remember

only Love), sees Love instead of grievances, frees the mind of

negative focus, and allows the flow of the good gifts from life and

the Source of life are free to express in our experience.

This is essentially the offering of peace and non-violence to the world.

Focus on the Perfect Love that created you and all others in It's own

image. We are Perfect Love. Anything less is merely an illusion.

From Abraham:

So, if something has hurt you and you're working to forgive it, you

are activating it. Forgiveness is almost exactly the same, in fact

we would say it IS exactly the same as saying, " I'm going to

deactivate this thing that's hurt me. " And we would say, the reason

that it doesn't go very far and the reason that people struggle so

hard with the idea of forgiveness is because they keep digging up

the stuff that they don't want and keeping it active in their

vibration so that they have a stream of people they have to forgive.

So we would give forgiveness a new definition. We would say, the

ultimate way of forgiving is really forgetting; and the ultimate way

of forgetting, really is by remembering something you want to

remember.
