Huna/Energy Healing and ADD

Well, when I'm not in the mood to do healing, I just find something / someone to

creatively curse... LOL Just kidding...

Do the energy drill routine, then add in the radiant energies, and lock them in

with the front and back regulator circuits.

Also helps to make a mental screen of what you intend to do, and then go to

level and do the Huna Breathing and / or Darth Vader breath.

I tend to run on " away froms " and wait to do the drills until I really HAVE to

or else...lol But it's amazing what you can do when you just go to level and

program it, then energize that project, and then take action RIGHT AWAY (instead

of saying " oh, I feel good....I think I'll go do something else first... " lol).

Sincerely,

Jim

I use huna, energy medicine, going to level with segment intention, ALL

the time for my ADD ways.

Also NLP -- energizing short-term time-lines works well for

concentration. (for me). I do Huna for the long term pictures (moving

toward ideals).

There is a section in " The Promise of Energy Physiology " pertaining to

ADD and ADHD -- if you haven't gotten that book yet, do. It's great.

Exercise is important - getting your circulation and lymph going is

key.

Eating well (careful with sugars) is important.

Since excitement and danger turns on the dopamine -- you can use breath

and segment intention to 'energize' a project.

Also - tapping (EFT) can turn your energy on.

Thom Hartmann thinks that there are two basic types of human brains:

farmer brains and hunter brains.

ADD types, he says, are hunter-brains. Scan the environment (short

attention span) and then hyper-focus when in the hunting mode. (I think

that the hunter mode is the creative mode -- actively seeking a

solution and operating in the future and in the present)

One MD ADD specialist told me that it wasn't Attention Deficit

Disorder, exactly. But that ADD types don't move between modes easily.

It's sometimes difficult for ADD people to get out of the hyper-focus

state of mind.

Don't you hate being interrupted when you're really involved?

Doc's dvd's on Demon Propulsion Systems is really good for

concentration for us ADD types.

Get Donna Eden's Energy Medicine book or check it out your local

library. I know my library has it. The book is only $16.95 if you do

purchase it. Amazon.com might be even less.

I'll bet that doing some of her exercises will assist you. The

5-minute drill is a good one. Make sure you do the exercises to clear

homolateral where the energies of the body are running backwards and

not crossing over like they are supposed to.

Experiment with the exercises. Find out what does work for you and how

often you need to do them. While I don't know for sure how effective

it will be it is much better than taking medicine or suffering with

ADD.

You might also want to consider The Energy Medicine Kit, a DVD of

Donna doing the exercises and a recap of each one, CD and cue cards

with the exercises on them as well as written instructions. That might

be easier for you to learn. You can get it on EBay for a very

reasonable price.

It takes very little time to do the exercises.

Thom Hartmann has a book on healing ADD --something like that. It is a good

read with good excercises and reframes on beliefs. There also is a Bandler

forward to make it all that more exciting.

Hi Helen:

Methinks there is a missing link in Hartmann's brains.

>Thom Hartmann thinks that there are two basic types of human brains:

farmer brains and hunter brains.

-

and this may be where you're at:

The FISHER brain.

Patience is the drill for the Fisher.

What to do when the fish are not biting. No matter what bait you use,

nothing works, but you can't catch a whale if you don't have a hook in the

water.

But when the fish are biting, you are on uptime and stay out `till the

boat's loaded. Then clean `em, freeeze `em and sell `em and then...

.... boredom as the tide goes out.

Here is is wonderful stabalizer for ADD at this moment. = sing Otis

Redding's, " dock of the bay " .

The rhythms may not be of your choosing but when you ride them in balance

they are all YOURS.

Question:

Helen, my son in law is a TCM therapist but also an avid surfer and he has

clients and surfing buddies who have ADD/ADHD/Bi-Polar, and all sorts of out

of balance mental structures but Never when they are surfing.

Why is that, do you think?

Regarding NLP, Helen, starting with the " Linguistics "

>I am trying to make assets of my challenges

i.e.

" Challenges " , ` Swish-to~ " Gifts " .

And remember, " trying " is for Loosers; " Doing " is for Winners.

Hey Rusty :)

Fishing is a patient-kind-of-hunting, is it not? (guess it's hunting

if you eat the fish :)

And, you're correct. I should have used my fisher brain and NOT my

hunter brain this morning, when my two of my dogs decided to chase and

corner a young coyote all through the steep hills and canyons, me

crashing around after them. Thinking the coyote was a lure, about to

call in it's pack, separate the smaller dog from the huge St Bernard,

and kill her, I was yelling and climbing, yelling and climbing through

dry brush. Silly me!

I should have just gone home and let them figure it out for themselves

-- which is what they did. After the terrific sport of cornering a

snapping coyote for a half hour, they found their way home. So, I got

a lesson and a pretty good workout!

I think your son-in-law's friends are in the hyper-focus mode when

surfing. That particular kind of focus (while surfing) does use the

whole mind. Before I knew anything about energy medicine/huna/nlp , I

liked to jump fences on horseback to get into that state of mind. Sort

of surfing on horseback (balance, soft vision and whole body focus --

and thrilling!) One of my instructors back then, taught both surfing

and riding....

BTW -- I LOVE Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay -- love Otis Redding :)
