For another, I will simply move the group to somewhere that doesn't charge. There are still alternatives. There almost always are alternatives in anything. If there are not existing alternatives, alternatives frequently can be created. So please take this discussion to private email. If they charge people there won't be as many people participating and it will be harder them to find support.
