Treating Yin-Tang w/ Electro-Acupuncture

I own an electro-acupuncture devices which I use for a number of reasons.

Here's the one I have:

http://www.acuhealth.com.au

It has a built-in sensor and a speaker which increases in pitch when the probe

crosses over an acupuncture point.

I keep it near by so every now and then i'll pick it up and use it on any number

of points, but I usually use it on Yin-Tang right between the eyebrows on the

forehead.

There are two basic settings, + and - (reffering to the switch that can be set

on either 'plus' or 'minus' ).

I beleive the + is used to strengthen the acupuncture point/meridian and - is

used to either tonify or weaken the point/meridian.

I wanted to know: which setting should I set it on when I use it on Yin-Tang and

how can I tell which one to use from what I'm feeling at that moment ?

Basically I want it to help increase concentration during the day and (at night)

help me sleep. I also wonder if it doesn't really matter in which case I can use

it on + or - anytime day or night.

When I use it on minus the beeping gradually increases it's pitch along with the

strength of the jolts (from some sort of 'biofeedback', difficult to explain)

and eventually I can feel the electricity reach deep within the brain.

But when I use it on plus, the jolts feel much weaker and do not increase and

there isn't as much 'biofeedback'.

I hope this makes sense to those out there who are familiar with these devices

who can help me out.
