Polished Crystals

Hello, Jacqofhearts!

Of course, use what you want and disregard the rest.

As far as polished vs. natural (unpolished), I think this is a point of personal

preference. I have natural, polished and shaped crystals and stones in my

group, and some of them have several uses. Not all of them are interested in

healing work all the time, for instance. I would ask the crystal what it might

be interested in doing and take it from there. My primary healing crystal is a

natural crystal with a sizeable " ding " in her top point, she is very proud of

that ding, I imagine it was given as acknowledgement of something she felt was

worth giving of herself for -- before we came together in this life, as she has

always had it that I know of. It did not detract from her energy when I bought

her, and it does not detract from her healing ability now. I go on in this vein

because you will also hear from people that a crystal that is not perfect " isn't

worth anything " . That always amuses me.

Here is some background information: we all (even crystals, note) have an

energy aura that is an energetic body. It can be photographed. When they took

an energy photograph of a leaf, the energy aura was a perfect outline of the

leaf. When they tore the leaf in half and took another energy photograph of the

leaf, its energy aura was STILL the perfect outline of the leaf. The same thing

holds for crystals. A polished crystal still retains the energy outline of its

natural self. A shard retains the energy outline of its original whole self.

Every once in awhile, as I am running my hands over a bowl of tumbled crystals,

I'll " get " a flash of heat feeling in my hand -- that tells me the crystal is

part of a larger energy picture -- larger than I can see at any rate. Quite

often those types of crystals and stones will find their way home with me.

Always room for one more.

I am currently doing research on the chakras. I don't seem to be

tuned into personally seeing a crystal aura. I obviously do not have

the right frequency on my " radio receiver. "

Would you have any internet site in mind for this I could look into

this further. I figure if a crystal has an aura then it must have

chakras as well.

Hi Bob, the leaf thing was in a book I saw about Kirlian photography, I think.

You might do a Google Image search and see what pops up. I don't own the book,

or I'd send you that information. Have fun with the research!

PS: I am not sure an aura means the requirement for chakras. I don't " get "

that crystals have chakras. My Buster crystal tells me the energy that flows

through crystals does not have a loss from that flow. I think he refers to

entropy or drag or something like that -- no drag, so the energy that comes in

and flows through is the same that flows out. Not the same situation with

softs, who need chakras. Perhaps for that reason. Good luck!
