Okay.

Okay, first a few questions just for you to think about, but you

dont' need to post on them. We delete so many things unconsciously,

that when those deleted things are pointed out, we sometimes think

the person that pointed them out is a monster, rather than someone

who is really helping us build a valuable skill set in a new and

desired direction.

How do you know he is an exceptional supervisor?

What is he doing that you consider exceptional?

Do the other 7 think he is exceptional?

If so, what is he doing behaviorially that causes them and you to

believe that?

>the building yet I have no direct contact with them.

> Most of the women in my dept. are overweight. (I've noticed their

What are their ages?

On an average the pituitary gland stops secreting 40% of its growth

hormone by age 30...and 90% by age 40, not even secreting it during

exercise.

Normally only during massive pain and injury after the age of 40,

unless certain dietary supplements are taken at the right time, at

the right amount, and then exercise done directly when the pituitary

gland is secreting those growth hormones.

So, weight gains in the 30's, and then for some, massive weight

gains in the 40's and 50's " IF " they don't adjust their eating

habits, and exercise habits to fit the hormonal changes.

Of course there are exceptions. I've a skinny uncle, that is now 89,

still rides a motorcycle, and only weights about 135 pounds soaking

wet. And, he's been 135 pounds for the past 63 years! Skinny, fast,

smart and healthy. And I don't like him nor his attitude. But it

really works well for him.

He eats like a bird. He exercises daily. He doesn't smoke. Doesn't

drink. Has no glutteny that I know about.

>eating habits and no surprises there). I approached " Terri " one day

>for infor. and she was eating a huge pile of peanuts off her dirty

>desk and drinking a 32 oz. soft-drink. She's very attractive, and

>well groomed otherwise yet extremely obese. I was surprised at her

Let her. Use the Law of Allowing here.

Instead of looking at " what's bad about her " , bless what you like

about her. That one was a very hard one for me to learn (still is on

some aspects).

And I learned it from Stephanie E.,

>unsanitary snacking habits. She also has an enormous of annomosity

>toward me, the worst. Peanuts and peanut products were wrecking

>havoc on my thyroid so they're no longer a part of my diet. If

Unusual.

Did you energy test that with the spleen test?

For example, I love salted peanuts, and the general indicator test

tells me they are good for me.

The spleen test tells me a " small handful " is okay, and any more is

not productive for me.

And, me knowing that, I will eat what I want to anyhow, but then

I'll kick in the spleen to metabolize those peanuts faster.

So you can have your cake and eat it too, sometimes.

>Terri made a few changes in her diet the weight would just melt

>off, yet she won't hear that from me. I'm 5' 8 " and weigh in about

>134 lbs.

How old are you?

What do you do diet wise, energy wise, thought wise and exercise

wise to stay there?

And, " GOOD FOR YOU! "

On a side note here. At the World Huna Convention 2 weeks ago, I did

my 2 day intensive, then I did a workshop for them...plus a massive

amount of one-on-ones. 2 of the people I did one-on-ones had weight

issues. When I was digging for the reason behind one of their

issues, I surprisingly noticed I had the SAME UNCONSCIOUS ISSUE. So

when I erased their issue and replaced it with a more productive

emotional response, I also erased my issue and replaced my negative

emotion with a more productive emotional response.

This morning, after my shower, I " noticed " the scale in the corner,

hopped on, and realized THAT WITHOUT DIETING, NOR CONSCIOUS

BEHAVIORAL CHANGE I'd dropped 7 pounds in 2 weeks.

So when eating lunch I noticed the meal I ordered was different than

the meal I used to order last month.

All done on a subconscious level without willpower, nor sweat and

deprivation being necessary.

>So this skinny girl moves into this overweight office and

>gets the cold shoulder, and did I mention I'm in an administrative

>assist. position?

Cold shoulders come for many reasons. See below.

>I understand people can be standoffish towards

>new people and also understand we all can't like everybody, that's

>just life. Yet, I have no issues with any of them and wonder why

>they're pouring out such negagive energy toward me making no secret

>about it.

Well, since I own my own businesses I just " FIRE " people like that,

once I've talked with all concerned, looked at the reality of the

situation, and notice what needs to be done.

On the other hand, being the new kid on the block, means the new kid

needs to find a way to fit in, to gain their respect and their trust.

Knowing their personality profiles might really help you here.

>It takes more energy and effort to be mean-spirited than to create

>comaraderie.

Nope. Not so. Depends on many different things. In fact for many,

building comradeship is almost impossible. Why? Because they look at

the same world throught different filters.

These are the ones from Missouri, right?

Do they sort by sameness, or by differences? Those who sort by

differences will always notice what is NOT the same. This is a big

one.

You are slim and trim. She is not.

So, to build rapport, look for a sameness characteristic that is

IMPORTANT FOR HER, and make sure she notices that sameness in you.

Then you are friends for life.

Dale Carnegie's book, " How to Win Friends & Influence People " has 9

principles for success as a leader he teaches about. They would be a

very good skill-set for you to learn also, if you don't yet know

them.

>I'm dealing with the attitudes but it's not fun.

Well, you can make it fun if you want to. First, take care of

yourself by doing the skills from the " Bullet Proof Aura " skills

set. I've posted about them here before. Many I've gleaned from

Donna's seminar teachings.

>I won't allow them >to chase me off but would like some insight and

>some suggestions to >keep their negative energies from invading my

>happy space and breaking my spirit. I need to concentrate on my

>work and not they're attitudes. Will office politics ever die out?

>Thanks,

Genie Laborde has a neat book out called " Influencing With

Integrity " . Study it, and you'll know more about what you want to

know than 99% of the rest of the people on the planet.

It's been out for 26 years, and is still one of the best basic books

on that topic, that comes with specific drills that you do daily,

over a period of 30 days to build that skills set.

Have fun.
