I think I figured out where your insight came from, but it still seems slightly different from what I thought I was saying. But I still enjoyed your insight. Regardless, Reading one of the introductions from Ingo's Biomind website. Check: Section 1, Superpowers Essay Series— Introduction Where in The First Central Issue, he goes into a similar topic when trying to explain the validity of researching Biomind Superpowers. He talks about how ones communication ability is limited by their accepted paradigm. If you don't have the receptors, or honest interest, for a discussion about superpowers, you will easily throw all such discussion into the, " thats weird " , category. That was really a short over simplified explanation, but you can read the article yourself if interested. But these holes of communication are actually quite ordinary in our society. Unless you are from a tribal society in Africa you probably do not understand the customs and traditions and will have all sorts of mis_communication when talking to someone from this tribal society. We get through this with composure and practice. Same with discussing superpowers. But the socially accepted weirdness sure creates a dynamic set of obstacles to clear for successful communication!
