Guest guest
Charlene- > Hello i recieved an Eagles eye stone for my birthday and i cant seem to find any information on it, what other name does it go by and what are its properites etc? > As others have said, it's likely Hawk's Eye or Blue Tiger's Eye. If you'd like to email me I can send you a photo of Hawk's Eye for you to compare. Assuming it is Hawk's Eye I've included some excerpts from a listening I shared on my own list. I hope it is useful in some small way. In Love, Fabeku Caretaker, Crystal_Spirit list crystal_spirit_2/ *** NEW URL!!! *** --- forward --- Dearest stone friends, Hawk's Eye, also known as Falcon's Eye or Blue Tiger Eye, is a relative of the more familiar and equally wonderful Golden Tiger Eye. Rather than exhibiting the earth golden sheen, Hawk's Eye holds a medium to deep blue flash that invigorates the medicine of this stone spirit. Hawk's Eye brings us the medicine of vision and perspective. Just as the Hawk ascends into the skies to see the land below, so too does the medicine of this stone spirit elevate our vision and increase our range. These stone support us in seeing more, enabling us to take in increasing larger views of the inner and outer landscape in a way that expands us on all levels. During moments where we need to gain perspective on something, Hawk's Eye steps forward and offers to carry us on its back to a place where understanding rests. When we have become too close to something to see it clearly these spirits support the widening of the lens of perception and the elevation of our perspective and spirit. These stone spirits help us to see the forest from the trees, to increase our clarity and discernment around any given situation, temporal or spiritual. Hawk's Eye is the balance to Mouse medicine that tends to focus so sharply on what's right in front of itself, which can be both supportive and detrimental depending on the situation. For those who tend to get lost in the immediate details of something or that tend to lose sight of the " big picture " because of such a narrowed focus, the stone spirits of Hawk's Eye offer a balancing and often healing alternative. Hawk's Eye teaches us about the mystical nature of perception and reveals to us that what we define as " reality " is really just a collective of perceptions that we have decided are more real than other possibilities. There is, in truth, no reality just individual and collective perception. The magic of this understanding is ultimately freeing because it places us into contact with a dance that we can shift or expand simply by shifting our perceptions of that dance. This is a fundamental part to both living a miraculous life and of understanding of our co-creative capacity for manifestation. To more consciously co-create our reality we must understand that our perceptions are at the heart of it all. This applies on both an individual and collective level. For those interested in working to shift their perspectives on things these spirits help to foster the discipline and diligence necessary to attain success in that dance. In a related way Hawk's Eye asks us what we're fascinated with and teaches us that whatever we're most fascinated with is what we manifest. The Universe dances with us to manifest our fascinations and these stone spirits can help us to become more conscious about what we're manifesting through these fascinations. Additionally they point us in the direction of shifting these fascinations to the more supportive, most miraculous vistas possible as a way of transformation ourselves and our world. The spirits of Hawk's Eye teach us to " think big, " to dream impossible dreams and to understand that nothing is truly impossible at all. As such these are spirits of grand inspiration. When the stone spirits of Hawk's Eye teams with Hematite and Picture Jasper a medicine is born that can teach us about the " why " behind our life experiences and give us insight into the reasons why we have experienced certain things. Further, there is an energy from this triad that supports us in finding the highest answers possible to these questions of " why, " aligning us with rich answers from the heart of our soul's wisdom. Connected to this gift of understanding " why " Hawk's Eye also teaches us the limits of our perceptions, reminding us that even the wisest among us cannot see and know and understand everything. We are not designed to omniscient and while we are able to extend our knowing in extraordinary ways that markedly expand our capacity to know, we simply cannot know everything. Hawk's Eye helps us to be comfortable within the Mystery and to be at peace with what we can and do know. These spirits remind us that while we cannot know everything we will always know exactly what we need to know at exactly the right time and in the right way – always. Hawk's Eye helps to reduce the sense of being a victim and reminds us that while we cannot always control what happens in our lives that we can always control the way we perceive what happens. That is our place of power and therein rests the medicine for meeting all of life from the place of our soul. This includes our ability to take responsibility for how we feel or respond to something, decreasing the tendency to say to someone, " You made me feel this way or that way. " When we realize that no one can truly ever make us feel a certain way then we become empowered, able to shift adverse reactions and capable of elevating ourselves from the strength of who we are. These are stone spirits of empowerment through responsibility. Hawk's Eye facilitates communications with the Ancestors, opening us the lines of dialog and expanding our perception to the level where we are able to dance with those who have mastered the mysteries of featherless flight. These stone spirits are able to share with us the expanded wisdom and perspectives of those that have crossed the veil and been elevated in that crossing. Hawk's Eye teaches us about grounded spirituality, of exploring things with a depth that offers us the medicine of transformation and true growth. These stones spirits help to shift us from superficial or " flighty " explorations of our spiritual path and taking us toward more mature and more meaningful dances whose medicine elevates us like the Hawk. These stone spirits assist us in finding the relevance of our explorations and connect us more deeply to our pursuits so that our spiritual path becomes a celebration and elevation of spirit instead of a distraction from deeper and more meaningful growth.
