Guest guest
We have a higher incidence of fat as Americans, that's for sure! The companies who process our food-stuffs, and I do believe that the term Process is accurate, add high fructose corn syrup to practically everything. It's cheaper than sugar and has a long shelf life. Many people who emigrated here have found to their dismay that they gain weight easier eating the same amount of food they've been used to. As a whole, we eat far fewer fruits and vegies than our global neighbors. Don't forget partially hydrogenated oils, aka transfats. Toxins get stored in the body in fatty tissue which is for our protection, so it doesn't enter our blood stream. This causes inflammation which results eventually in many of our " common " health problems. It's readily accepted here that these conditions are a normal result of the " aging " process. Wrong culprit here! I don't believe in " aging " . Perhaps some of them have given in to the temptation to take it easy in front of the TV, computer, or participate in other non-physical activities. As they say, When In Rome.... My .02. Guest guest
I believe in this also. Wish I would have known or read this stuff year ago. I know this lady that I think she has been on eat for you blood type diet and she watches what she eats I think as far as what she buys in the stores. And this lady is I think in her upper 60's and her face looks so smooth and I don't think she has any wrinkles. I know I am trying to eat better and not buy all this junk in the stores. When I mention some of this to my co workers they are like yea so what I am going to keep eating like I am ( they don't care ) But they are the ones that are always sick and there kids sick. This lady that I mention she said she hardly ever gets sick and has not been sick in quite a few years. Also I read that the other country's are starting to eat the way we amarican's eat and they are getting fatter too. What does that tell you!! Guest guest
There is also a system called, " Metabolic typing " that gets even more specific than blood typing. I do like the premise of the latter, I think it's a great place to start. It's too generalized, though. My chiropractor is going to give me a website where I can take the test.
