Is there any one specializing in HIV and Aids treatments? I would love to share and learn about the protocols you are using and find helpful

Are there any contraindications for magnetic therapy?

People with metal in their bodies (pins etc from surgeries) should not use

them as well as pacemakers. I know there are more but can't think of them at

the moment.

They are very helpful with pain from injuries. I used bipolar magnets for a

sore ankle applied to the site of pain and it worked very well. Seems to me

that bipolar magnets used this way are pretty safe ... but I had a heck of a

time with applying them to accupuncture points. Never EVER apply south pole

magnets over organs if you don't know what you are doing. South pole applied

to organs can worsen cases of infection, cancers etc. North pole magnets are

used this way but can be very depleting if used for too long of a time. If

you're getting very tired, weak or shaky ... you've overdone it. Be very

watchful.

Hi All,

Re: Magnets, MyTeacher/Sifu taught me that

north pole for sedation, (pain, etc)south for

tonification. Most vendors indicate which poles are

down(the small ones, 8,000 gauss) usually are like

small bandaids...When I get them and KNOW the north

side is down I paint them with red fingernail polish,

if I don't know, I will test them and put them N side

down and paint. Also pellets can be used on hands

(Koryo hand therapy) silver for sedation & gold for

tonification.

There is a good book that my Teacher/Sifu recomemded

to me its called " Magnetic Healing & Meditation " by

Larry Johnson, Very inexpensive & informative, I

think I saw it before in Redwing, or they

used to have a website called, White Elephant

Monastery

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info and the recomendation.

How long should they be left in place? This is something that some list

members may wish to experiment cautiously with.

Are there any contraindications for magnetic therapy? Are there any

disorders which it is especially helpful with.

In this, as in all cases of self-experimentation, proceed cautiously and

stop the therapy if one experiences any side effects or anything which may

be a side effect.

This is why I always mention contratindications for herbs or for acupoints

or any other treatment.

Thanks,

Victoria

Hi,

Thought I'd come out of lurkdom to respond on this thread.

I worked for an acupuncturist for a while and he cautioned against

using magnets too much. Said they can disrupt your own magnetic field

and mess you up even more. So perhaps a little use is ok, just be

cautious.
