How Soybeans are Processed

You can buy tofu, and other soybean products, that say “certified

organic”. At least I can here,

which is what I make sure I buy. You can probably read as many “pro”

articles about soy as you can find “con”. The question is – who is writing

those articles – are the “con” articles written by the meat

people? Would be

interesting to know that fact.

I have read many, and they all say “studies

have shown……”, but nothing

scientific.

My 2-cents take on this

is that this kind of processing is bad enough. But

what is

worse is that nearly 80% (??? forgot exact %) of soybean crop are

now genetically modified.

I used to be

a heavy Tofu eater, but have since stopped after I found out

most soybean is GM food... Ugh...!!! :-}

I also read a while back

that eating too much soy product eventually causes

thyroid problems. I'm sure the info is somewhere on the internet.

Warmest Regards,

Helena
