Guest guest
This is interesting. I wonder exactly why so much personalization is used in some people's self belief justification here? There are certain things people say, and there are certain facts. Why should the person's credentials be the thing to get judged? Try this: Imagine these eccentric people again. You know you have a certain idea. You can imagine exactly the sort of people they are. Just focus on the difference between them and your own " culture " . You know, you can distinguish, you are smart. You can imagine the difference. Now imagine these people again, but imagine they were all, for example, Islamic, or all black, or all Semitic. Do you notice how your prejudice has expanded and bounded even further beyond reason? Wouldn't it be more civil to simply focus on facts and data? That will keep us open minded. Some people say that NLP is ineffective. They use science and cross referred facts and data for support. I trust the research. Others say that it works. They rely on stories that I find unconvincing. Doc has already listed some of your alternatives and options. I can see that he knows NLP is unconvincing to some. You can succeed without NLP if you choose. Let's try to stand back from prejudice. I am interested in advancing and nourishing a good and open spirit. Regards Oliver
