I agree with Ed.

 

Terry cannot even go to the bathroom as she cannot move so she has a colostomy. Someone has to change the bags a number of times a day. She cannot feed herself. This is living????

 

Why are people so afraid of Death. It is natural. Living on and on in that state that Terry is in to me is worse then Death.

 

Think of it THIRTEEN YEARS. You really want to live like that.

 

If the parents are so sure she is going to be fine TAKE HER HOME AND NURSE AT HOME. Why leave her with strangers if you love her so much.

 

Change the bags of waste and feed her through that feeding tube, after all she is going to be fine ..... let's see how long that last, bet it is not another THIRTEEN YEARS.

 

Cindy: What do you base the statement that MSNBC is lying. Where is the proof? I would like to know if they are. I live here in Florida not all that far from Terry, so I want to know.

Another opinion:Terri is already dead fer hell sake. As it is, she may live to a ripe old age as a blob of protoplasm on a slab as long as a plastic tube pumps food into her stomach. As far as i am concerned, such a plastic tube IS an extra-ordinary means. If it were ordinary means, more than half of us would take our nourishment that way. Terri -- at least the person that used to inhabit Terri's body -- is DEAD. Let her rest.So, MSNBC is not honest because they apparently disagree with you. Am i being dishonest because i disagree with you? How vain to claim -- intentionally or unintentionally -- that anyone who disagrees with you is dishonest.I am facing what is seeming more and more to be a terminal illness. If i get to a similar place, i hope that someone will have the humanity to say "let him go."
