Guest guest
(some musings I shared with Doc, who suggested I post them here too) Hi Doc, > It's been stated by many that " when you take care of yourself, then > the world will take care of itself " ... > > It's also been said that a small group of dedicated people can CHANGE THE WORLD! > > So, which choice is best? Perhaps they merge - taking care of yourself, deeply enough, you free yourself from limitations (illness, misconceptions), and you become the action moving through you more than the person acting - and whatever your life takes you into, you respond with clarity of knowing and action. My current truth is dedication to re-establishing realization of wholeness - I am fascinated with Donna's teachings (and any other paths that strike a harmonic chord with me.) I choose to follow my fascination, and heal my private earth, and reach out to offer what I can to those drawn to my energetic stamp on things. Whatever state we are in, we profoundly impact those we interact with. My intention is not to change the world. Just my share of it: my body/self ... I don't need to know where it's leading, what the final impact of my life will be, because I don't know. Will my life lead me to affect one person in such a way that they are freed from their limitations, and so they go on to change the world? Or that because of an interaction with me, one will speak to another, who will go on to affect great positive changes? Will I mention an idea, give a touch, that is the last push that sends a quantum leaping wave of wellness and the hundredth monkey realizes a wider reality and the paradigm shifts? There are many ways to change the world. I don't know what the effects of my being here are or will be .... all I can " know " is what is before me now, and what seems to be right, until my understanding expands... With my current state of understanding, I focus in this moment, and then this moment ... trusting that as I heal aspects of myself, the meaning and purpose of my life will naturally find more space to express, manifest, blossom. Such as writing this email. This may be my life's opus, and I don't look to the promise of any future moments. It feels right in this moment, so I am here. sending a smile, Lyn Eclectic Daoist and Watcher of the Rain This Evening in FL ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't care if I'm the hundredth monkey - just as long as I'm ONE of them. {8*) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected.
