Virgin coconut oil is used for full bodymassage before bathing babies, as a hair

massage oil and for cooking in some states in India. It is a good moisturizer for

skin and helps thick and lustorous hair growth. It doesnt help baldness though.

Oops.

The 'timing' is wrong.

Use it AFTER bathing, NOT before.

That MCFA REPLACES the protective oils that were washed off when bathing or

showering.

I love virgin coconut oil.

I have found it perfect for my very dry skin.

My skin really sucks it up and is not oily after use. It's the best

moisturizer I have found for my skin.

Mango oil and butter are also very good but much harder to find (also probably

more expensive).

And I agree with Doc about using AFTER bathing/showering.

- don't totally dry off and let the oil help seal in some of the moisture of

your bathing.

Many blessings,

Misha

Mary -

The popcorn sounds good!

Is it just me, or wasn't coconut oil one of the no-no oils a few yeas

back? Maybe just hydrogenated coconut oil....

If any oil is hydrogenated it becomes a poison for the body.

Of course the soy bean oil companies don't tell you that when you buy their

products.

And the soy bean oil companies are the ones that spread all the lies about

coconut oil.

Why?

Tarnish the reputation of their competition.

Every lie the SBO people say was NOT in alignment with the research and the

scientific facts.

Get Fife's books on coconut oil and how to use it.

Yes, it was.

The tests were probably made from copra (processed) and badly mistreated

in those tests. As I understand it, it was intentionally hydrogenated.

Pure coconut oil was not what they used at all. In reasonable

quantities, it is a great oil.
