chris, i haven't had that exact thing to happen but i once bought a beautiful

little crystal set in antique silver in a pendant. i cannot wear it. it

totally exhausts me to try to wear that thing. i tried several different times

and finally gave it up. i still have it but now wear a " friendly " crystal and

the other is sitting in a basket.

[CrystalHW] Red Tiger's Eye

 

 

Hi all,

I have a question for those more experienced than myself I had a woman

in the shop the other day that purchased some Red Tiger's Eye and a smoky

quartz for a friend. The friend then came in the next day and told me that

when her friend put the Red Tiger's Eye in her hand, she got nauseous,

immediately. She thought it was odd, so handed it back to her friend and

tried holding it in the other hand.....had the same reaction. Anyone else

ever had this happen??? I've sure not heard of it!

My first thought is that the red tigers is likely heat treated to

produce the red color, since that is the case nearly 99% of the time.

Some people are very, very sensitive to heated/treated/altered

stones. We just had a discussion about this recently on my list.

 

I know that I often get fairly adverse reactions from altered stones

and I am very sensitive to stone energies.

 

Perhaps this person is especially sensitive and didn't respond well

to what is most likely a heated stone.
