Guest guest
Hi Group, Gary Craig is retiring on January 15, 2010. Reasons given were health issues and stress. Gary is the founder of EFT, which was derived from TFT, NLP and Self-Help Energy Psychology. What does his retirement mean to us? For one thing, he will be taking down his website. So if you haven't yet downloaded his free EFT manual, or read through the thousands of case histories, I urge you to visit Gary's website (www.emofree.com) before Jan. 15th. That's only 30 days away. If you don't get it right now you will lose it forever! Go there (www.emofree.com.) and get the manual, do a search on topics that are of interest to you. If you are serious about learning his very effective method for yourself or to share with others, the best way to learn all the nuances that Gary teaches is through his video training. I have all his videos, DVD's, books and manuals. I cannot recommend his DVD's highly enough. They are priceless and will only be available from him until Jan. 15th. Guest guest
Hi Group, I personally find Rusty's answer to be rude. Putting that aside and answering the original question . I think it shows that health and longevity are about more than relieving stress. There are dietary, environmental, and other factors that all contribute. In fact this was part of my point at the last seminar when talking about Linus Pauling (Einstein's best friend). He worked with carcinogens, toxins, and all manner of chemicals that literally killed many of his colleagues. He lived to a ripe age of 92 (outliving his wife) with zero illnesses and died of old age. The father of modern chemistry (as many consider him) championed vitamin C and is the best example of its benefits as he lived long in a generation that averaged 67 years doing a job that averaged in the mid 50's during his time. He retired long before he died. So does this mean vitamin C didn't work? Or does it show how much of an improvement using it makes? Have you looked at how old Gary Craig is? What else has he done? What specifically is the condition(s) he is dealing with? Do they relate at all to stress? Perhaps in a few years he will come back after having solved the latest health issue(s) with new and better tools.it could be that this is nature's way of getting him to move on to the next level because he spent too long at the EFT one and didn't grow in new directions fast enough. I know that in my own life health problems have often jolted me from the comfort zone and made me move to the next level. Perhaps, wishing him well and waiting to see what he does to solve it is a better thought-form to put out there into the sea of possibility than the negative one that Rusty used. What do you guys think? Walter Hurlbut, PhD Physics PS I think this is just one facet of the answer to that very deep question. There are more immediate considerations that seem more obvious and more in-depth ones I haven't touched on yet.
Guest guest
Maybe it means that some people are better at tapping away stress than others. I read that the doctor said Gary had a heart attack. That can make many of us look over our lives and what we really want. Dr. Oz just had a show about how the heart attacks of women are frequently not recognized by physicians. They are either given antidepressants or antacids, depending on symptoms, rather than being checked for heart issues. Perhaps Gary did not recognize enough at the time to see a doctor or maybe was misdiagnosed. The wording was that it was discovered after the fact. As far as what his retirement means to us, tapping has branched out from straight EFT over time. We do tend to put our own spin on many techniques we learn and EFT is no exception. That will most likely continue to evolve and probably branch out even more. Gary's EFT DVD's will be available for a few weeks (4?) so if you want a set, order them now since I doubt he will be getting more. The emofree.com web site is to be discontinued at that time. Gary says he will not allow someone else to take the web site over nor allow copying parts to other sites. This link gives Gary's whole memo regarding his retirement: http://web.me.com/solyomvary/EFT/Blog/Entries/2009/12/16_Gary_Craig_retiring.htm\ l. I wish him well in the future. " ? etc Hey Rusty, That's NOT what Gary wrote, it was the interpretation given by the person you copied in your email. For Gary's blog go to http://eftcommunity.emofree.com/blogs/eft_blog/archive/2009/12/12/gary-is-re tiring.aspx? I totally understand Gary's reasons. He started EFT AFTER he " retired " from his " day job " and, from what I understand from personal interactions with him, putting EFT out there was never about the money. He didn't (and probably still doesn't) need the income. Actually from the interactions I had with him over the years I understood he was spending lots more on his website and supporting ventures than he was taking in. Not to be his voice, but I can tell you second hand what Gary told me about ten years ago: His intention was to get EFT out into the world to become a part of everyday life. Where everyone could easily learn and use tapping to get past energy disruptions that often result in unwanted emotions and uncomfortable physical reactions. Certainly Gary succeeded. How many people do you know that set such an intention and then achieved it? Sometime we exceed beyond our wildest expectations. And the time and responsibility of monitoring a website and business can and does take time away from family and other adventures. Been there, done that and I honor Gary's decision and trust that you will also. As well, I trust you will be as objective in making similar decisions. Yes we do have gifts to share with the world. Ultimately our first responsibility is to ourselves. We are a microcosm (to quote Doc) yada yada yada. Love & light, Gwenn
