Guest guest
When I started this e-group, I wanted it to be just as the welcoming statement says...open to any questions or experiences that deal with acupuncture. The only thing I have a problem with is when a person joins the group just to try and sell something. It's not a place for advertisement, but instead somewhere people can feel comfortable discussing all aspects of acupuncture. I don't find the things that Sue and Debbie spoke about to be uncalled for. Acupuncture covers a vast amount of illnesses and problems, and women's issues are a part of it. I apologize if the subject matter is of a sensitive topic to some, but speaking as a student and future practitioner, I have learned to be prepared to hear all about the patients~including rather in-depth discussion of their body functions and fluids. It is important to understand all of the symptoms in order to successfully treat the patient. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings, and feel free to discuss these things further with me if you feel the need. Open to practicioners, patients, students and interested persons. Feel free to join in! i believe they WERE talking about TCM, and a condition Debbie was asking about. and i believe Sue mentioned something about not using tampons in reference to debbies condition. i have been told the same thing by acupunctuists, to avoid tampons. If you have a personal problem with someones post, you too can e-mail them privately rather than disrespect everyone by posting insults publicly. what does insulting people have to do with acupuncture? womens physical issues are a part of the human body, and the human body is something that is treated by acupuncture. why didnt you get offended when someone posted about a point between thier scrotum and anus? thats pretty personal, yet when talking about medicine it should be acceptable. if there are strict guidlines for the subjects allowed, could the administrator please post them so there is not a dispute? >>
