Guest guest
For me, the thing about taking lots of notes is that if I'm writing down lots of notes then I'm not paying full attention full to what Doc, or a Ms. Guru is doing in real time. So there are trade-offs. How much is too much notes? So I've gotten into the habit of bringing my mini tape recorder with me with plenty of tapes and batteries. Plus Doc is always reminding us at the seminars, " If you missed that, don't worry, it's on DVD " . On the other hand, some things the camera just doesn't seem to catch, like a flash of color in an aura, the shape and size and feel of a chakra or a flash of a mental image. So I use the notebook to write things like that down, or like when the camera or tape isn't rolling, or when we break into groups to do a drill, or for things I might want to emphasize and refer back to right away, quick sketches, and so on. Then there's transcribing, amazing how much more you get out of an audio or video, how much you retain and remember when you transcribe them.
