I do not put those two concepts into the same sentence. False advertising is telling a lie to reap a profit. Promising miracles to one, might just be sedating bladder meridian to another. They are different mental contructs and have different emotional fields. > The difficulties of alternative health practitioners come down to >lack of proper training. I'm just curious to how many of those Theta Healers have ended up in jail for practicing medicine without a licence. When people like Edgar Cayce, Donna Eden and Jose Silva have had to fight the medical establishment when they have never made such claims. Mr. Cayce did psychic readings. Mrs. Eden does Energy. Mr. Silva did hypnosis, as did Dr. Erickson who was also almost drummed out of the medical field because of his use of hypnosis. > Do advertise what you can do. It is to be able to frame your words in such a way that it is evident that no medical advice is being offered, ever. And still framed in such a way that is a powerful stimulus to the emotions of the student and does give valid hope. This giving of hope can be done with simple examples of possibilities followed by the evidence procedures of what is and of what it is not. > In conclusion I think that alternative practices and creating miracles will always have a home with groups of enthusiasts playing >with and developing new technology. And doing the drills takes time, feedback and repetition. Much repetition. I put this site, healing energies, up there on a level way above most others. Why is that so? Because of the reasons you've already mentioned. When people take something wonderful and effective and dumb it down so that pretenders believe they know everything ther is about it because they think they understand a word or two. Like in Theta Healing hypnosis is used by Stobal, but is not used by anyone of her practictioners. Because of the necessary practice and achievements needed before Doc allows people to give their advice. Advice from those with experience is fantastic. I am glad this site is here. I come every day.
