For some time now I've wondered how these exercises affect the energy body (I feel pretty darned energized by the end of my workout). Especially since I'm 47. More especially because I help others lose weight with EFT & EM... So I'm always looking for new ways of helping those that DO exercise, do the drills, etc and don't lose weight (so far I've only run across one person like this). I DO exercise, at least 5 days a week, do EM drills, along with EFT to stop cravings, eat well and splurge once in a while...and maintain a sexy (if I say so myself) figure at 5'6 " 130 to 135 pounds. Earlier this year when I was a bit overweight and needed to lose about 10 pounds (my clothes were getting very tight) I ran an EFT/EM weight loss 8 week workshop, and lost 10 pounds. But there were some people in the workshop who WOULDN'T exercise or do the drills. Until I taught them to use EFT to boost their metabolism. Earlier, we had used EFT to try to get them motivated to exercise. With minimal results. The boosting metabolism protocol had them revved up and sitting on the edge of their seats...at 9:30 pm on a weeknight! (I had to do another round of EFT to pace them to sleep that night...I've been through that before, doing EFT and/or EM drills late at night and then staying up and doing god knows what all night, like ironing at 3AM). Which got me wondering which comes first...the boosted metabolism that gets you to exercise, or the exercise that boosts your metabolism? FYI my article is on my website www.tapintoheaven.com under the " Newsletters " link. What I'm wondering is how effective the same sort of protocol would be on boosting the growth hormone? At least for a few minutes in the beginning..and for longer the more consistently one taps... First, intuitively determining at what percent your pituitary gland is releasing growth hormone...on a scale form 0 - 100%, and then using that in the EFT setup statement. Using something like " Even though my pituitary gland is only running at XX%, I deeply and completely love and accept myself and my body " as the Setup Statement and " Running at XX percent " as the Reminder Phrase during the Tapping Procedure. Or, " Even though my pituitary gland is only releasing XX% of growth hormone into my body.... " The next round of tapping you can use " Even my growth hormone is still under 100%, I release anything and everything that inhibits my pituitary gland from functioning optimally, and I deeply and completely love myself and accept my body " as the Setup Statement and " Release anything that slows down my pituitary gland from releasing growth hormone " as the Reminder Phrase. For the third round of tapping: " Even though my pituitary gland is not used to running at 100% all the time, I now repair everything that slows down the release of my growth hormone as I deeply and completely love and accept myself and my body, " for the Setup Statement and " Repair everything that slows down the release of growth hormone " as the Reminder Phrase. Then do another intuitive reading (or use muscle/energy testing, or if you are lucky enough to have a friend that had an electro-dermal testing machine you can get a reading) to see how your body responds. Or just do the tapping for a few days and see what sort of results you get... Especially because (at least from what I've learned) the growth hormone is responsible for lots of other side effects of aging, beside the weight gain...could this possibly clear up wrinkles, facial sagging, and even gray hair? (Every new energy protocol I learn I always experiment on my gray hair...it hasn't got any worse, but it hasn't got any better...could this be the secret?) Well continue with the Energy drills, especially the TW normalization, the SP Strenghtening points, and the lymphatic massages. Do them when you get up, before you exercise, after you exercise, and before going to bed. Also do the other energy drills that I emailed you privately. They will keep your energies running in the proper directions, even with the exercise. And, from your comment, " Exercise just doesn't do what it used to. " , actually points out something else. Your situation is similar to another lady that came to me for weight loss, Jane. She'd attempted exercise, diets, blab, blab, blab, and nothing seemed to work. She was eating like a sparrow and still was much bigger than she wished for. She was 47. What she didn't know was that we have build in aging clocks in our endrocrine system, and as we get older, certain changes occur. The secretion of certain chemicals slow down, or stop completely. One of the changes that occurs is that the pituitary gland, the gland that secretes growth hormone (which burns fat quick, and makes muscle quick), diminishes the release of GH by 30% by the age 30 (approx), and by 90% by the age of 40 years old(approx). Normally, after the age of approx 30, GH is NOT released by exercise, BUT is only released by PAIN! (GH is also released during Delta brain wave, but that is a different technique. If interested, let me know.) Arnold S. is a good example of this. One of his statements in his book is, " When I need the barf bucket, THEN I know I start my real workout! " The good news is, there are vitamins that are very effective GH precurors, that when you supplement your diet with them, you will, along with some light exercise, BURN FAT QUICK and MAKE MUSCLE QUICK like a teen ager! When Jane (the other lady) started combining energy drills with exercise, with the GHp, her results were INSTANT. I gave this information to another lady, Sue, and Sue took the vitamins, but took them at the wrong time, so they were totally ineffective. Sue didn't exercise. Sue didn't do the energy drills. Oh well. We are all different in our attitudes, in our emotions, and in our willpower. If you are interested GHp and the exact method to take them, let me know. It's a method I use for self and for clients, and we always get good results! Sincerely, " Energy is all there is! " ~ Donna Eden

A good point Gwenn. It's like asking about, " what makes a person successful at XYZ (fill in the blanks with any behavior from good sex, to making loads of bucks, or to being slim and healthy)... " And it's NOT goal setting. And it's NOT the belt line flow. And it's NOT the diet. And it's NOT the food you eat. So, what specifically is it? The simple answer is, " it's the discipline and persistence that you have to adhere to any of the above! " The unconscious mind is full of old tapes. And when we get into a certain behavior, any behavior, those old tapes are replayed. And, just about any anchor in the visual, auditory and kinesthetic field (feelings, tactile, propioceptives, etc.) can trigger those unconscious tapes. Even when the conscious mind attempts to replace those old tapes, unless it replaces the unconscious tapes, and gives you a new behavior, NOT much happens. So, having a purpose, a reason " why " you want to lose fat and gain muscle is very important. Usually ego will suffice for a brief period of time, like looking forward to looking good at your 25 year high school reunion. So, how you motivate yourself is also important. (I enjoyed your EFT suggestions. I've not used them in this context yet.) Back to GH releasers, or GH precursors as I also call them. First, these GHr's are not for losing weight, but are for burning fat! There is a big difference. I know some skinny potbellied men that have more fat than Arnold Schwarzenegger does, but according to the scales he's about 60 pounds (or more) overweight, and he's not got much fat anywhere on him. Unfortunately most diets cause weight loss, and that weight loss is in the form of BOTH fat and muscle, and usually about 50-50. So, with a normal diet you end up with people that are shaped like a pear. They still have hugh butts, but they now have narrow, bony shoulders and arms. We want to avoid that pear look. Now GHr's cause fat loss, and will even build muscle at the same time, when done correctly. The EXACT SCHEDULE for taking GHr's is very important. You can't get the full fat loss and muscle-building benefits if you don't take the GHr's at the right time. And, most of the products on the market are ineffective when taken as directed, even if they are properly formulated. Anyway, here are some basic instructions, pared down to the minimum. 1. Take the GHr's on an empty stomach. I suggest when you first start out, 2 even tablespoons mixed into a glass of water. (After a week of no side effects, diarrhea, then up the dosage to 3 tablespoons) No meat for at least 3 hours. And make sure all the foods have a low-glycemic-index. Also make sure the meal has a small quantity of food. If it's a large quantity of food, then you'll need more digestive time. 2. After taking the GHr's, wait about 1-1/2 hours before exercising. Some resources state one hour for powders, but I don't feel the releasing for a longer period. See the following example. Time of last meal Time to take GHr's Time to exercise 6:00 am 9-9:30 am 10:30-11 am With the above type of schedule, the GHr's will trigger the release of GH, and the peak out-put exercise will release even more GH, somewhere on the level of a 19 year old. Another point about fat loss. Whether you take GHr's or not, it is very important for you to control your blood sugar and insulin levels properly. When you eat carbohydrates, they either are sugar already or are converted to sugar, so your blood sugar goes up. This causes the pancreas to release insulin into your blood to metabolize that sugar. The insulin helps to convert those excess calories into stored body fat. Insulin blocks the fat loss and muscle-building effects of growth hormone. That's why carbs have the well-deserved reputation for making you fat. Onward to which GHr's to take. Back in the early 80's doing this right was tough, and did cost a bit. I was taking 28 capsules twice a day. A real gag reflex. Now-a-days this is easy. Some life-extension scientists (Pearson & Shaw) have put together a product that is very easy to take and has all the proper dosages in it. It is called " Inner-Power " and can be bought for wholesale at iherb.com. A month's supply is $54 bucks. Their price is $23 bucks and they pay the P & H. GHr's can also be taken for sleep-time GH stimulation. Normally during natural sleep, when you reach delta brain wave (about 60 minutes after going to sleep) the pituitary gland releases growth hormone. So, when going to bed, take your GHr's, making sure that you are still taking them on an empty stomach (3 hours, no meat, nor sweets, nor high-glycemic indexes). Time of last meal Time of GHr's Bedtime 7:30 pm 11 pm 11 pm A third method is to keep the above schedule, but at 12 pm do peak exercises for 20 minutes, then go to bed. Now growth hormone is stimulated by the GHr's, by the exercise, and by the delta brain wave pattern during sleep. Enough for now.
