Guest guest
Yeah, what kind of rebounder is that one you have at the school that everybody uses all the time? I have a nice one I got at Dick's sporting goods, but I had been doing 30 minutes at a time on it with various types of drills, and damned if the mat didn't tear where the loops connect to the springs... So now I have to get a new one, and I hate the cheapo's with just the elastic straps because they give a different type of " bounce, " and I think the springs have a much better bounce and are also easier on the knees... I saw a spring rebounder at a yard sale a couple weeks ago and I DIDN'T get it even though I felt like I should look at it, because I knew I had a good one already...then a day or two later, I broke the damn thing... Grrr... Maybe I will find a couple of good ones with springs that have been hardly used for $5 or $6 bucks at a yard sale this month... Guest guest
Amy, Sports Authority sporting goods stores has 2 different rebounders: a 38 " for $29.99 and a 48 " for $49.99 (I think). They don't fold. You could just put it on edge against a wall to get it at least partly out of the way. That would probably work with either rebounder. I have the 38 " and it is pretty good. I haven't had it very long so cannot speak to how long it will last. I do know my knees like it better than the Wal-Mart rebounder. Sports Authority's rebounders have metal springs that seem to rebound differently from the other type. I don't know how widely Sports Authority stores are available. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Guest guest
HI, I got a heavy duty mini trampoline 'twister' from ebay, $1 plus $20 shipping ups. it is steelbase with springs. I feel safe on it, without thinking the whole thing is going to jump up with me. has wheels and place to put up hand thing for twisting, but didn't come with the hand rails, can jump and twist on it myself, i belive it cost a bunch, but got a great deal on ebay, maybe want to check it out.
