Hi Judith, That depends on who your source of wisdom is. And I suggest that an energy test from the spleen meridian be your source. No one knows you better than does your unconscious mind. Just be very clear when you test. I also suggest the source I mentioned earlier. >I have been told that Vit C is hard on the kidneys. They do NOT know what they are talking about. The evidence is in and has been in for 50 years. There can be NO ARGUMENT about Vit C if anyone actually reads the evidence from the actual researchers and users. >I think too that it throws off the body's pH balance, which > the kidneys attempt to maintain. Nope. It doesn't. > I stopped taking it as a daily supplement. Good for you. I also sometimes do not take it. Most times I do take it. Reason? Because it's also great for allowing the triglicerides to slide though the blood vessels and NOT adhere to the artery walls. Because in the colon it 'accidentally' manufactures interferon which is the best immune system enhancer known to mankind and if you need to buy it it costs thousands and thousands of bucks. But ten cents worth of vitamin C and you are protected. Here's a few of the simple things that ARE more protected. Your cartlidge is protected. Your spinal cord is protected. Your brain is protected. You live longer, feel better and your immune system is awesome. All for about ten cents a day for a substance that your body DOES NOT MAKE...and CANNOT STORE. >Then if my immune system is down, > and I have symptoms of cold or allergies or being run down, I'll take maybe 1/3 of one of those packages of powder that also have a >nice balance of minerals. Haha. That's the one form of Vit C I normally do NOT take. Especially all at once. Because of the conglomeration of 'other stuff' in it (it only has 1,000 mgs of Vit C) for me it does cause bowel intolerance, which for me is not fun. But if I want a vitamin concoction, I'll add a packet to a bottle of water and sip on it all morning, instead of a cup of coffee. John La Tourrette, PhD PS.
