Dr Ajay Gambhir & Dr Akhilesh Singh are very senior members of the Indian Academy of Pediatricians. They do not oppose vaccines per se but are concerned about suppression of information about dangers from vaccines. They are trying to inform parents regarding the recorded adverse effects of vaccines. They are also trying to get across the facts regarding adverse effects on the newer vaccines being recklessly introduced into India. They intend to set up a VAERS in India. I do not support their views on vaccines as I am more than convinced that the risks from vaccines are deadly and numerous and the benefits are purely speculative. I am campaigning to ban vaccines altogether and to promote genuine and gentle healing systems like nutrition based naturopathy, spreading awareness about proper breastfeeding, sanitation & hygiene, provision for

safe drinking water, natural home birth, pollution control, banning pesticides, GM food, other toxins and safe systems like homeopathy, ayurveda etc for taking care of children. I have conveyed my views to them in writing. However I do appreciate their efforts to clean up the totally corrupt system. It is a good sign that more and more doctors are now speaking out and breaking the conniving silence. - Jagannath.--- On Tue, 7/4/09, Information <info wrote:

HPV VAERS

(VAERS - Vaccine Adverse Effect Reporting System)

Dear Friends,

Human Papilloma Vaccine was first introduced in America in 2006 after trial in more than 21,000 girls and women in the age group of 9 to 26 yrs out of which less than 1200 girls where less than 16 yrs of age.

According to CDC from the time the vaccine was licensed through December 31, 2008, over 20 million doses of HPV have been distributed in the U.S. During that time, there have been 11,916 reports made to VAERS of adverse events following vaccination with HPV. Out of these, 94% were classified as reports of mild to moderate adverse events, 6% ( about 600 cases )have been reports of serious events.

CDC states that there is no common factor in these deaths hence the vaccine cannot be alone hold responsible for this and continues the recommendation of HPV vaccination in the age group 9 to 26 yrs of females.
