Ingrown Toenail : phenol acid procedure

The phenol is being used to prevent nail growth to a small portion of

the

nail matrix within the base of the sulcul groove and prevent further

ingrown

nail on the affected side. You do not want to be using any substance

natural

or other Tx to mask these important messages informing you that all

is well

down at the toe. Have the PNA (partial nail resection) with phenol

matrixectomy. Hope this helps.
