Guest guest
My feel for it was that when I read her post, I liked it (still do), so I answered. Totally different than the feeling I got from the guy on our other list who admitted he knew where the answers were but wanted someone to write up a post for him so he wouldn't have to go looking. And by the way, Kerri, if you'd like one of the most practical guides on the planet for how to tell someone's element and then how to use their own characteristics to help them in whatever ways are important for you to help them or get along with them, you really wood enjoy Doc's video set on The Lost And Forgotten Secrets of Hypnosis to Get What You Want From Yourself and from others. I figured Doc would mention his own videos on the topic, but since he didn't, I will :-) Sometimes he's too damn modest. Real awesome, instant usable materials. Goes over language patterns for each of the elements. Goes over their timeline strategies (or lack of!), their secret motivators, etc. (You can even tell their element by the way that they walk!!!) Have fun, and thank you for posting :-) Jim docspeed2001 <docspeed2001 Mar 11, 2005 1:49 PM energyhealing-essentialskills [energyhealing-essentialskills] Strategies upon strategies upon strategies!!! > ...and maybe, just maybe, >they deserve a little more >respect from you. > Just a thought. > --David Brandt Hi David, Kerri. It's neat to see two strong people... ....both with the guts to push for what they think is right. Kerri, that's a Wood element trait. Keep with it. David, strong Wood and much Metal. Keep with it. Kerri's already mentioned that she feared the responses she might get so was pretty defensive on the original post. She also apologized (without anyone asking, I must state) for those previous concerns. A typical mode of defensive people is that the sometimes do a pre- emptive attack to keep the other dogs away. Which is a pretty damn good tactic if you can back it up, but is is a low level tactic, though better than no tactic. I " read " that defensiveness for what it was, and I came up with this... .... " She wanted that information so much that she'd even face us to get it! " What is also neat is Jimmy, who is really smart, also ignored that defensiveness that Kerri had, and actually answered her real underlaying question, and he did one hell of a good job. Then Sammy...well what can I say about Sammy? He went right to the heart of the matter and used NLP, The 5 Elements, and Remote Viewing to get his answers, so he skipped the defensive attack also. Now you come up defending this group. This is so kool. God, I love you people! You are like family. In more ways than one. I think she'll make great contributions to the group, and I think she'll get a lot out of it in the bargain. Doc, when I first read this e-mail, I was shocked. I've never thought of myself as having Metal traits - I used to show mostly Water-Earth, then Water-Wood, but never Metal! But, then I thought about it, and you're right, Water doesn't suit me any more, either - it requires too much self-repression and vagueness. Ah, well, time to re-read Energy Medicine, this time with a new slant... Thanks, Doc. And, Kerri - welcome. --David Brandt
Guest guest
Jim, Thanks for the recommendation of the video set, it sounds like I would get a lot out of it. I have started a list of info products that are mentioned on this list which I know will be invaluable. I am coming up with a million questions on elements which I will search the archives for Now this course title has gotten me interested to know if one person could somehow get another person to pay their share of the financial responsibility of raising a child so that the first could use some of their money on things like videos, books etc. It would need to be done remotely though, I wonder if that's possible? Guest guest
David, I was relieved your post wasn't too harsh, considering I had pretty much asked for it The google search for five elements quiz turned up a few sites, thankyou for that tip, I wouldn't have thought to look for a quiz. Thanks for the welcome, I can see this list is an excellent place to learn practical everyday uses for energy medicine. respectfully, Kerri - David Brandt energyhealing-essentialskills Saturday, March 12, 2005 8:40 AM Re: [energyhealing-essentialskills] Strategies upon strategies upon strategies!!!
