Guest guest
Hi Amir, I was amazed. One day back in 1984 I was griping about what I wanted in an advanced education and what I didn't want. Dr. Myron mentioned that CPU was a university that took other educational accomplishments, and they would apply them towards the work necessary to obtain their degree. Let me make it clear. Back then, there were requirements and costs at CPU. My costs, back then were somewhere around $3,000 bucks. It was NOT a " buy a credential and go away happy " place, but a place where you needed to study, practice and train to get the skills you wanted. The GOOD point about them is " they would allow you your own course of study to get what you wanted " . Another one of my NLP friends (Dr. John S.......) was a professor at the University in Pueblo CO. I asked him about CPU. His advice, " if it gets you where you want to go, then do it! " He also mentioned that the university of Colorado used to have a similar work-train- experience program, but had dropped it a few years back. In fact he had been in charge of it. So I did. I became a student of Columbia Pacific in 1984-85, having already obtained a BA from Southern Oregon College back in 1973... and at Columbian Pacific I went for a Master's in Business first, then I went for a Ph.D. in Sports Psychology. At that time, 1984 CPU was an APPROVED university. I received the Master's in 86 and the Ph.D. in 87. When I was with them they did accept outside classes and life experiences for partial requirements for their degrees. Amongst other studieds they did accept my Silva Mind Control trainings, my NLP trainings, my NLP hypnosis trainings, my Ericksonian Hypnosis Trainings, my completed works at Boise State University, and my completed works at the University of Colorado. Now here the good part. I had my Ph.D. from CPU a good 10 YEARS BEFORE they had any trouble with the state of California!!! Here's the nitty gritty. Students of CPU AFTER 1997, when the council for private postsecondary and vocational deucation denied CPU's application for licensure, were then told they needed more credentilization and should have a concern. The same bureau further stated that students who RECEIVED DEGREES OR CREDENTIALS FROM " CPU " BEFORE June 25, 1997 should NOT be affected BECAUSE the school had LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO OPERATE until that date!!! > Hey Doc, > I was searching for your new websites, > looking for the remote viewing course and as i > looked through the search results, the second result > said some crap about you... I went and checked out the slant on what you sent us. I was amazed. I must have really angered someone. > I apologize for sending it to your private mail, Thank you. I'm glad you did. > but i know the groups would be mad that this jerkoff > is making claims... His claims, on the surface, " appear? " to be valid. But he did NOT take into account the time sequences. And he is wrong about other portions. Let me go over a few of them. Here are the time sequences they left out. I retired the first time in 1980, in Boise ID. I wanted to get more education and looked around for what I wanted. I'd done a bit towards business management and marketing at Boise State University, but I did not like what I was getting. Too much bordom, too little knowledge. So I took my family and moved to Colorado Springs, thinking to go for an advanced degree there. After getting there and taking a couple of classes, I knew that going for a clinical degree in psychology was NOT for me. The man that told me about CPU was an old friend and Karate acquintance, Myron Severson, who obtained his Ph.D. in Psychology from CPU back in 82-83. One day I was griping about what I wanted in an education and what I didn't want. Myron mentioned that CPU was a university that took other educational accomplishments, and they would apply them towards the work necessary to obtain their degree. Let me make it clear. They went on to state, " EMPLOYERS SHOULD READRD THE DEGREES as representing education equivalent to that of accredit schools!!! " Anyway, there is much more I can say, but why waste my time and the time of the readers on my groups. One tiny last tidbit. I've been accused of being Jack Williams. Why? Because he sounds like me. Well, he is PART ME. He is my son, and a human in his own right. His given name is John Williams La Tourrette. My wife and I have called him " Jack " since he was born, just so we would NOT confuse other people. His middle name is " Williams " , named after my wife's parents. SO Jack Williams, " is " Jack Williams. >and i didn't want the focus to be > take from real important things, things that people > are using everyday to make their lives a little > easier, skills that people like myself are using to > help loved ones. > > Amir Campbell
