Hi, Tim.

You really need to have the book. It's worth every penny you

pay, but in truth, often you can find " used " copies in perfect

or excellent condition for under $10. Try amazon.com, half.com, or

Alibris--sometimes eBay but generally they'll cost more there. Even

brand new, it's a bargain at the price. If you think you can't

afford this book, please compare it to the costs of doctors and

meds.

I think those books on sale as " used " are in such good shape

because someone, somewhere, bought the book and didn't want to be

bothered with USING it (as opposed to having it sit on a bookshelf)--and

I thank them for " recycling " this priceless book instead of

just tossing it into the rubbish.

I'm on my second book now. The first one was just about used to

death. The pages began falling out because they'd been used so

much. So some of those pages are now placed in those plastic page

protectors that fit in notebooks. I actually use these more than I

do my " new " copy, because it's so convenient to open the

notebook pages out flat as I follow instructions. (And yes, even

though I've been doing some of these things for a few years now, it's a

good idea to do it " by the [note]book " because sometimes I

discover I've started doing something wrong some time back--if I've done

that, reviewing lets me know and I can correct it.)

But really, this is one book you really need to own--not borrow from the

library, but own. As some here might know, I teach a form of

Reiki. I will no longer teach it to people who won't buy this book

and one other, because it's my opinion that no Reiki anywhere functions

as well without the Eden drills as it does with them. If the

aspiring students balk, that's well and good--they wouldn't have made

very good students anyway.

Jeanne,

I so agree about Reiki without doing the drills! I use Reiki and

Intuitive Energy Work all the time and find it vastly more effective

to make sure everything is flowing in the Right directions before

going further.

I also calm down the Triple warmer on newbies ( and Oldies too!)

That way they feel safe and calm during a session. It can get hard to

" Read " someone with full defenses up, or if they are scrambled or

running backwards.

Infact I just taught a Reiki 1 Class the other day and half of it was

showing them how to fix themselves with Energy Medicine first before

working on someone.

Tim,

You might also want to try ZeroPoint as it works with the out of conscious

mind from the general to the specific.
