I'm not sure of the nuances of your spleen question. I would sedate it as part of

flushing it. But is almost always needs strengthening.

Re: heart. If you look at the diagram on p 120, you'll see that you don't

actually use heart meridian to sedate heart. You use SI, B and GB, based on

their relationship to heart on the 5 element wheel.
