Hi Kik

Herbs I can't be without are - mint, bay or laurel, marjorum, origano,

thymes - all kinds, fennel (wonderful to attract butterflies too), chives,

basil in summer and garlic. Lavender is dotted around, as is curry plant so

there is always a 'spicy' corner to sit in.

I incorporate a lot of crystals around my garden, but have a dedicated

meditation area from where I send reiki or run crystal healing when the

weather allows. It is under the oak trees and so I have wind chimes and

various crystals hanging from the branches. There rose quarz for love,

citrine for cleansing, aventurine for healing, agates for grounding, sodalite

for calming, amethyst for meditating, and clear quartz for 'everything'.

Some are enclosed in wire cages for ease of hanging. Most of my outdoor

buddhas are holding a crystal too, and seem to like onyx and rose quartz. We

are also fortunate in having a lot of natural stone around which sparkles

with quartz so I have placed some of these around the ponds as it seems that

the greeks thought rock crystal was frozen ice.

Enjoy creating your own special place Kik
