Guest guest Posted December 23, 2004 Report Share Posted December 23, 2004 Thank you all for your Prayers, healing energy, and spiritual support of all kinds Nicoles spinal Surgery Tuesday went very well though the doctor had to cut away more bone than he'd expected to relieve the pressure . Its been an immediate success there has not been any pain or numbness in the right leg since she woke up after surgery. She may need a spinal fusion down the road but we are hoping that her spine will stabilize enough to avoid that. I spent the night at the hospital with her and we got home last night. She is still in some pain from the incision and won't be able to bend twist or lift anything for a while She has also been accepted to a new school where she won't be expected to carry a 60 pound backpack.
