Are all seleniums the same or are some better than others?

Duncan Crow The therapeutic window for selenium is 200-600 mcg daily, but higher doses have been studied and found to shrink tumors and reduce both HepC and HIV viral load (at 1100 mcg daily).Duncan Crow

Like any mineral, selenium should ideally be bound to something

organic - chelated - for better absorption. People will experience

differences just like they do with the various forms of calcium.

In my town people are using selenium concentrated by yeast, and it's

working fine.

The point may be moot soon; the EU has banned 14 forms of selenium

and thanks to our governments representing us in all their 'wisdom'

we are harmonised with those decisions and selenium, a crucial

mineral, will not be available at all without a prescription.

Makes a good case for eating that selenium-concentrating broccoli

from California, yes? That is, if it's not deemed to be a nutritional

supplement itself.
