Guest guest
There are some parrallels in testosterone and estrogen to yang and yin because the endocrine system mostly operates in pairs that try to balance between 2 extremes by a self regulating, self correcting feedback-feedforward based on apparent need. But it is better to do full evaluation for TCM by using TCM standards. For example yang may be more apparent because yin has declined(brittle hair is a sign that kidney hua is waning a little, etc- why? due to; yin def, essence depletion, long time fear, etc. look at all the signs, ask, smell, listen). We need a deeper grasp of yin and yang and keep finding their manifestation. Sorry not much help. Some of the signs are darnening and coarsening of hair- on face, muscle pain, and large effects on self-esteem. I do not have other specifics about the person because I have not spoken directly to them. Any comments are appreciated! Lauren
