I've go that one open... and guess what? Interesting, because in 1995, Daniel Goleman wrote his first book on emotional intelligence. I've been working with researchers to build gaming software for kids to help them learn emotional intelligence skills. Why? They won't get it too often from parents... many/some are too busy working and doing what you said above... survival and reproduction. Meanwhile, I had to stop the work when Bush showed up because the economy died, venture capital dried up and I needed $4million dollars! I'm back now, and we're approaching it from a different manner. I mean the software/gaming development. What this means is that I'm ready to start again, this time using the government to fund the development of the software architecture. Meanwhile, I'm interested in knowing more about this. Why? Because my creative content is about a planet called Sedona. Kids go off in this space ship with their parents to settle this new world. Unfortunately, something goes wrong and the parents disappear when they arrive. Kids are now forced to take care of themselves in this forbidden planet that is pretty dark. Meanwhile, could I introduce this chakra/color concept as a tool that will look mysterious and fun to the kids, but that will actually do something for them? I mean in the game. I suppose at some point in the future when the game sells and we have tons of CDs, toys and stuff, we could sell real crystals... but for the game itself... can you see how to translate this info to them through the game without the real crystals? Am I sounding goofy? I hope not. One of them is just a plain, raw ruby crystal. The other is one of those Indian symbols... carved guy... Ganesh I believe is his name. If you can share any information with me I would be so grateful. I am trying to put together a healing system which combines these with crystals and possibly Reiki. Any inf from anyone else would be very gratefully received. I feel that this is what I am here to do as there has been so much sycronicity in this area and i am drawn so much. Thanks. Maurita Maurita: I don't know anything about chakras, colors and sound. I only know emotional intelligence from the scientific (psychology) point-of-view. They aren't ready for chakra training in the National Institute of Health or the American Psychological Association. <grin> What I would like to do is take the ayurvedic system, which is where (-I think-) the chakra system comes from, utilize the colors and the INFORMATION to include it in the game without really indicating that the light/color and sound is being transmitted to the kids. In other words, I don't want them to have to do anything to have to activate the healing energy. You can research on google and find much more information than you will have time to read.
