I am new to this site and have only started learning crystals this year although I have done energy work previously. I have currently experienced a physical need for yellow and orange crystal energies. I don't think I am ready for red yet, that would be too strong at this time. But I am currently experiencing the need for the energies represented by the red/ruby. I have a though on the situation which might apply. The Earth's frequency has risen. The ideal shift would be one which continues to shift. I don't know if that has been achieved. But science postulates a " red shift " prior to light speed. Now I know that there is no way Earth gets up to a real red shift, but we could have achieved a harmonic, however low, of that. New information has been brought to my attention that was a little different than most of what is currently out there. I was shown that the human chakra functioning may have been a little misunderstood. They are gateways for dimensional accessing of information. The colors and tonal frequencies that have been commonly associated with chakra functioning has been not quite correct according to this new info. I was also shown that up until now many humans have been operating with only 2 fully functioning chakras - the root chakra ( survival) and sexual chakra ( reproduction). That is what most of human kind have been doing up until now, surviving and reproducing. With the new rise in frequencies the next chakra struggling to open is the heart chakra ( emotion (love, loving)). The color and frequency of this chakra is red. This is most likely why you are being drawn to the ruby and it's beautiful red color - the heart chakra opening. This is what this new frequency is all about, moving from masculine, intellectual energy to a more feminine, emotion based energy of the heart. The energy from the ruby, as would most red based stones, would help in the process of opening the heart chakra. I hope you find this helpful.
