Guest guest
Some have contacted me about being sad , fearful , full of worry, consumed by dark thoughts etc. here are few reflections of mine . What you feel is normal under the kind of trauma ,stress and sorrow that has and continues to occur . Right now we are in a time of great uncertainty and though the call is to " return to normal " normal has changed, grieving takes time It would be more unusual if we did not feel sad or crazy or worried or full of fear than that we do. You are Correct to know that you are not here to absorb and reflect darkness but to radiate light, yet there are some understandings we have heard before but may reflect on now : We are a spiritual beings incarnate to gain experience., The joy we are capable of is in proportion to the sorrow we have experienced.. enlightment rises from a tranformation of despair . Time and again the healers, the teachers, the Shaman have awakened only after great tragedy and darkness has engulfed them . it is called the dark night of the soul The journey through hell is the shortest and surest path to inner peace, bliss and wisdom . So this collective experience of sorrow, of grief, of uncertainty and fear, this can be the great gateway the opportunity for an awakening of spirit and sacred understanding. As the dark thoughts and fears come know that they are normal and will pass allow them to pass like birds flying by , call your attention to even the smallest light and fragment of blessings that occur cherish all those things that are good, for these are the beacons on your journey. When you emerge from the darkness, this spiritual winter , you will have grown, you will have learned ,you will have gained far more of the light you seek than you could ever have imagined possible Peggy Jentoft --
