I could not find a list of stones used in acrostic jewelry which was

very popular during the Victorian era. It used to be possible able to

buy necklaces and bracelets with " Your name in gemstones " . When I was

very young I had necklace with a Peridot, Emerald, Garnet, Garnet, and

something Yellow Topaz? on a pendant. Now even the one jewelers site I

found that said they made Acrostic jewelry did not have a list of stones

for the letters. All I could find was Dear spelled with Diamond

Emerald Amethyst and Ruby and regard. I guess we will have to assemble

one of our own here is a few I thought of but I did not think of many.

If anyone could find a list of suggestions I'd love to include it in

our references Not all of these would work in jewelry but it is a start
