What makes some people reject advice from a spouse - even a qualified one - that they'll happily take from a magazine or friend? Guest guest
Hello everyone, This is my first post. I have been learning about Energy Medicine, NDT and EFT (so far, that's it) I started to learn as I wanted to be able to offer some alternative help to my husband, whose body is in terrible shape. I am now thinking that I would like to get good enough to start my own practice. My 9 year old daughter now says that she wants to be "the world's youngest energy healer" (her words!) She's discovered that she can see auras and feel energy... I'm still working at being that good! Anyway, I have a question: Has anyone else tried the peanut oil for the first time? I did... just a teaspoon of it... and it made me feel nauseous for quite a while afterwards... Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to make downing it any easier? I did have a drink afterwards, and some food.... but it didn't help. THis morning I drizzled a tablespoon of it on my toast, but had to add jam... Would that have the same good effects? I can't imagine eating that much toast and jam every day tho'! Have not started the MSM and vitamine C yet, but am looking forward to trying it. Thanking you very much for the tips Doc... my local co-op sells the MSM for $55 cdn for a not-very-large bottle... need to find it in bulk Anyway, I just wanted to ask about the peanut oil... Thanks very much, Marika. >>docspeed2001 Well, I am brilliant, but lets do something with the diet, okay......something cheap, and something that we have been discussing for Fran......and that's the peanut oil 3 tablespoons a day......and just do it for a week and see/feel what you see/feel...Miracles happen with all joints and all connective tissues.Have fun.My wife is 'FINALLY' going to do it because her aches and pains are getting worse and worse. My question is, "how bad does it need to get BEFORE you'll try it?"UGH! Eating Peanut oil. My Gawd! I'd never do that!I mean, what do you have to lose, since the other stuff is not working yet?
Guest guest
Paddy, Perhaps those we 'love' are the ones we have some of the biggest 'filters' on... Or not... It seems to me that living with someone causes us to interact and have states that differ from how we'd normally do them, for various reasons. So, perhaps for some types of interaction we put in bigger filters, and for other types we put in smaller filters ( " bigger " and " smaller " compared to what we'd normally do for friends and acquaintances)?
