Guest guest
Hi all. Relatively new here and haven't had a chance yet to go over back posts on subjects. I have been using EFT (mostly in a hospital setting -but don't let my supervisor know) and starting to wonder if there are ways to enhance its effect. Most of the info on the emofree site deals with ways to rephrase or dig into the problem more etc etc and relatively little deals with the actual physical process. Some of the things I'm wondering about and haven't had a chance to test yet are: Since the quick tapping sedates the meridians, and the sequence given B-2, GB-1, ST-1 etc is mostly because it's easier to remember, would the effect be enhanced if you actually followed the Five Element Cycle of Control(Sedation)? From one of my Jwing-Ming Yang books I know there are an assortment of hand positions with different effects for how (and how much)the energy is projected out the fingers, and from the book of another martial artist there is info about how different thumb/finger contact positions of the left hand can change the energy projected from the right hand from Fire to, for example, Water. So, to get to the point, if you project Earth energy while tapping the Bladder (Water) point does this increase the sedating effect, or if you use a stance or hand position which increases the energy projected - regardless of Element - does this work? There's also the idea that first stimulating TW " lights up " all the other meridians, making them more susceptible, which I guess explains the gamut point. So, would using continuous pressure on TW- 3 of the clients right hand while you tap on them with your right hand work better? (I've actually had one therapist who does EFT look down her nose at me when I said I tap the patient - she NEVER (am I shouting?)touches the patient. Am I the only one who thinks (Sorry, I thought this was my own original joke until I saw Richard Gordon quote it on a QT video) that this energy stuff is like sex, you can do yourself but it's much better if somebody else does ya?) I have more questions than is good for me. Sorry if this has already been hashed out and everybody here has moved on to higher things. Can you tell that trying to learn Reiki, EFT, Pranic Healing, Quantum Touch, Shiatsu, and Qigong all at the same time (while trying to figure out what you guys are talking about since I don't have any of Doc's videos yet) doesn't make you smarter it just turns your brain into a confused pile of mush? BTW- heading to Sedona for a weeklong vacation. Lets hope all them vortexes straighten me out : )
