I've enjoyed and appreciated the all the information posted so far. I'd like to ask if anyone has any ideas on the following: I gave a rough amethyst to a close friend of mine earlier this year after she experienced the loss of a family member. Through the past few months she has had her ups and downs but has seemed to find solace in the various stones that I have given her. However, last week she told me that she keeps all her crystals on her bedside table and that recently she has started waking during the night to find the amethyst glowing!
