Guest guest
By energy do you mean calories and calorie counting? That isthe newest fad. I have no problem with Vitamin C, I am just saying that there has been a lot of tests done with cancer and antioxidants and so on and so forth. No. I am referring to the 9 different energy systems of the human body and NOT to assimilation of food processes. (I've talked about them before, and they are one of my specialties. I also gave the formula of the complete system on one of the philosophical treads.). Calling something a " fad " is a derogatory statement that is used purposefully to install " doubt " about something else. It is a word used by propagandists that want to install a negative emotion about something else as a means of discrediting that something else. A fad is a custom, style, etc. that many people are interested in for a SHORT PERIOD OF TIME; a passing fashion, craze, or hobby. The hula hoop was a " fad " . I also use that word myself " if " I've studied both sides and have stepped back somewhat so I can dissociate myself from the opinions versus the facts. There are fads. Vitamin C is NOT a fad. It is a serious, productive vitamin that is necessary 3 times a day because of its water soluble natures. We piss it out within 3 hours, and it does need to be replaced if we want to keep our healing at a peak performance level. Vitamin C is NOT toxic, EVER! If you take too much, you have a bowel moment and it is gone. Vitamin C in larger than the RDA is NECESSARY because optimum levels help bleeding gums, loose teeth, depression, tiredness, easy bruising, impaired wound healing, irritability, joint pain, blab, blab, blab. Vitamin C is required for the synthesis of collagen. Surgical wounds do NOT heal in patients, whose blood plasma concentration of ascorbate is less than 2 mg per liter, corresponding to an intake of less than 20 mg per day. It has been scientifically verified in studies that patients who receive several grams per day experience unusually rapid wound healing and shorter convalescence after surgery. Because of those studies some surgeons add 5 g of sodium ascorbate or more, to each liter of intravenous fluid. There is so much evidence and research out there that it accelerates collagen building and healing and should be taken in amounts way past the RDA. On a personal note, I normally take 1.5 g in the am, a multiple vitamin (with Vit C in it) during the noon time feed, and another 1.5 g in the pm, mixed in with my bottled green tea. If I stay on that schedule, my knees feel very good. If I get busy and just neglect it for a week, my knees get very painful and my flexibility declines almost to nil. So I start taking it again and 1 week later all pain is gone. It's cheap. It's easy. It's effective. And it is verified by much scientific research AFTER you ignore the politics from the FDA. There is something here that should be said about aging. Those in their 20's will probably NOT notice the difference between taking it and not taking it. But those in their mid 30's and above will notice the positive differences. ©
