Guest guest
Peggy- I also wanted to add that I agree with you about the guilt factor. While I know that wasn't necesarily the intention and that taking responsibility for our part in the dance is important, it is too easy for people to blame themselves for their dis-ease. A part of our complexity is found in our co-creativity. I believe that we don't create own our realities, but rather co-create. By nature this implies that are a part of, and not the whole of, what is manifested in our life. The internal factors are obviously significant in the " why " of dis-ease, but they aren't the only factors. I feel that we should all take responsibility for what is ours, including the internal roots of dis-ease. That may mean digging deep and finding the lessons, but none of us should feel like a failure for being sick. Dis-ease can be a chance to learn and to grow and, at the very least, is simply a part of the human experience. To beat ourselves up for that is, in my opinion, to betray ourselves at a level deeper than what any illness can reach. For people that struggle with beating themselves up, about dis-ease or anything else, the spirits of Quan Yin Fluorite offer medicine that can support us in healing that pattern. They gently remind us that our humanity doesn't negate our divinity and that we can (and should) be fully human and fully divine at once. They soften our perspective of ourselves and invite us to accept ourselves just as we are in this very moment, releasing ourselves from the needlessly harsh criticism that alienates self from Self at every turn. I'll close here so as not to get too far off topic, but I just wanted to offer the above. As someone that has walked with chronic dis-ease I have learned the value of both looking for and working to heal the inner roots of dis-ease, while also accepting myself and my process as being perfect and a part of my learning and growth into MORE! I learned this in large part through the support of many kind friends and Elders, including those dearest friends in the mineral kingdom.
